To Whom It May Concern
I have known Andy Hunt for seven years through his role as a youth leader, expedition organiser / leader and a health educator in relation to youth expeditions to Kenya and Nepal.
During this time Andy’s work, dedication and commitment has been nothing short of exemplary. It is rare to find individuals whose drive is for others yet Andy has proven this time after time.
Andy’s role in Kenya has been not only to manage and develop the young people from the UK and Ireland but also the local people, often in very rural and challenging conditions. His ability to bridge gaps in cultures and attitudes is amazing. He is a gifted man who speaks from the heart and has a talent of getting the appropriate message across, be that to a 70 year old non English speaking Kenyan grandmother or a young person from Wales.
His abilities, attitude and background have benefited all the people we have met on expedition. Yet his humble personality will not allow you to hear of the amazing changes he has made to many different people in very poor, uneducated backgrounds throughout Kenya especially, where he has been involved with public gatherings, educational seminars and one on one teaching especially in terms of sexual health and HIV awareness and prevention.
His ability to interact, educate and guide young people from the western world is also fantastic. He opens eyes, provides enthusiasm, motivates and gives 100% to the betterment of those around him.
I can not recommend Andy highly enough however if you would like any further details please do not hesitate to contact me on chris@adventurealternative.com
Yours Sincerely,
