Adventure Alternative and Moving Mountains Trust
This partnership started in the summer of 2005. Andy went to Kenya for a month to volunteer his time to help to build a HIV clinic in the slum surrounding Nairobi. Adventure Alternative and Moving Mountains Trust, the charity they established to support the vulnerable children, have worked in Kenya for many years benefiting the street children. ASK was able to work through these existing relationship links to deliver essential training on HIV and Aids.
This has been an exciting connection for us and we are delighted to have kept up the partnership every summer since. ASK now also assists in the recruitment of young people from local school sixth forms to go out and work together for the benefit of the street children and the charity.
